A node-based visual programming environment widely used for real-time fulldome content creation and live performances.
TouchDesigner is a node-based visual programming platform developed by Derivative (Toronto, Canada). It enables real-time generation of 2D/3D visuals, audio-reactive graphics, interactive installations, and fulldome content β all without traditional coding.
TouchDesigner is particularly popular for Dome After Dark events, live music visualisations, and festival installations. It pairs well with tools like Resolume and Ableton Live for audio-visual performances. The NestDrop plugin for visualisation is also used alongside TouchDesigner at venues like Fort Worth.
